Disney World Day Two 12/7/07

We didn't have to be anywhere early this day, only by 10:00. We got to Magic Kingdom just in time for rope drop and headed to Cinderella's Wishing Well. After the girls made their wishes, we ran into Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters. Emma and Rylee were wearing their rags dresses because they were on their way to the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique for princess makeovers. Anastasia and Drizella made a big fuss over their outfits and asked them to come live with them and clean for them LOL It was really cute. Then it was on to the castle.

Emma and Rylee got to choose their own princess hairstyle, so they both chose the Fairytale Princess (basically a ballet bun). I made Emma's Snow White dress, and my friend Shamiki made Rylee's Cinderella set. They had so much fun and I have lots more pictures to share that were taken by the Disney photographers.

After the BBB, Greg got chosen as the Beast for Storytime with Belle. The girls thought that was really cool and I don't think Greg minded dancing with her either :) We just hung around MK, rode rides and met some new characters. Abby was wearing her Cinderella Carousel outfit that I made, so we had to ride the carousel of course.

Emma got to meet Peter Pan, whom she loves. We also watched the Dreams Come True parade, which we had never seen before. It was another great day!!!

Disney World Day One

Everyone was up and ready to go by 6:30!!!!!! We had reservations at Chef Mickeys for 7:25 and we made it with time to spare. After Chef Mickey's we headed to Magic Kingdom and stayed until around 1:00. Then we went to the house for a nap, shower and change of clothes to go back to MK to meet Tinkerbell and her friends. The girls didn't know that you could meet the fairies at MK, so they were so surprised when they found out. It was so much fun! After meeting the fairies, we watched the Spectromagic Parade from Main Street, then headed home for the night. What a wonderful first day at Disney World!

Before we went to see the fairies, I got to meet up with some of my online friends at the Polynesian beach. These are some of my very good friends that I've gotten to know very well over the past year or so. I just wish we had more time to spend together, but we had some fairies waiting for us and I couldn't let the night slip away without meeting them.

To Shamiki, Dena, Jen, and Laura it's been so much fun working with you as The Fairy Godmothers and I hope we continue for a very long time HUGS TO YOU ALL!!!!

To Jenn and Bobbi, sorry we didn't get to hang out more, I hope we have the chance again :)

Disney Trip day 2

After spending the night in McDonough, Georgia, we headed south to Tifton. There we met my friend, Brandi and her three gorgeous kids. My girls were so happy to finally meet them in person. We met at a Wendys so they kids could play and we could all have some lunch.

After lunch we headed to Orlando!!! We arrived at the house about 6pm, finally!!!! Greg took the grocery list and headed for Walmart while I unpacked and got everyone settled. We have a 7:25 breakfast reservation for tomorrow with Mickey!!!!

Disney here we come!!!!!!

Day One of our Disney adventure with Rylee :)

We brought Rylee home from WV with us on November 23rd. We had her here through Thanksgiving, then we left for Disney World on Thursday December 4th. We left home at 10am, went to town and dropped off SS gifts, picked up drinks at Walmart, filled up the van... then drove back to the house for the girls' DVD player power cord. We left the house AGAIN at 11:30 and were on our way. It looked like a TON of stuff, but once we filled up the cargo carrier on top, and loaded up the back of the van it wasn't all that bad. There were 5 suitcases, 3 duffel bags, 2 big backpacks, 2 Baggallinni backpacks, one Large Rubbermaid container (toybox size), 2 strollers, one crockpot, plus everyone's travel activity packs and snacks.

We were aiming for Tifton, Georgia to meet some friends, but Greg couldn't last any farther than McDonough and we stopped for the night.

Virtual Lysol all around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greg and I along with two of the girls have STREP! YUCK!!!!!!!! We are supposed to go to West Virginia tomorrow evening, but it's all going to depend on everyone's health and the road conditions. They've been getting snow, so we'll see!

One silver lining in this cloud ....... RYLEE GETS TO COME TO WDW WITH US!!!!! Her mom called today and said it was ok for her to miss that much school (headstart) so she could come home with us this weekend and stay for our trip to Disney. I'm so excited that I can't even sleep while on Benadryl LOL

Ok my first REAL Post LOL

Today is our 23 day mark til we leave for Disney World! We are all super excited and can't wait to get there. The only thing that could make the trip better, is if Jeremy, Rylee and Korben could come too. :( I've been sewing like crazy trying to get the girls customs ready and I only have about three more to go. I will post all the pics when I have everything ready to pack, which should be next week some time. Anyway, here's what we've all been up to:

Amber is taking her final two classes at United Christian Academy, which meets in Hartsville every Tuesday. She is taking American Literature and Algebra 2. When she's not doing schoolwork, she's usually on the computer, watching TV, reading or taking pictures. She loves photography. I just wish she'd pick a college already!!!!

Sarah is waiting for softball season! She was in choir with our local homeschool group, but we decided to take her out since she was only doing it to be with one of her friends and it wasn't worth $8/week to drive her back and forth! She is in her fourth year of Girl Scouts and would spend every waking moment with her BFF Matalyn, if I'd let her. She is crazy about Joe Jonas and loves to watch Disney Channel. She is most excited about Disney World because she can't wait to show Jasmine her outfit AND she is determined to try Summit Plummit at Blizzard Beach ... the worlds tallest water slide!!! We'll see about that!

Abby is taking Song & Dance Jazz class every Thursday night and she loves it! They had a masquerade ball last week and they all dressed like princesses. That is right up her alley. She loves all things Disney but mostly Cinderella. She is also taking Speech Therapy at one of the schools every Wednesday. She has been going for about 4yrs and it has made a huge difference.

Emma... what can I say about Emma other than she sincerely believes that the world does revolve around her! She is a Disney movie fanatic and loves Snow White more than anything! She is determined to ride all the big rides at WDW whether she is tall enough or not. She was potty trained in February over the course of one weekend! Her reward is a trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Cinderella's Castle.

Greg & Deann - well, we're just here taking care of these girls! What else can I say!

Now, if I can figure out how to add a picture, I'll show you what I made this weekend for Sarah.



HAHA! I did it! This is one of her outfits for Disney World. We leave in 23 days!!!!!!!!!! Ok, now back to the sewing machine :)
